If your property is with a letting agent, they will look after general maintenance issues that may arise during a tenancy. It’s not generally their job to start arranging refurbishments.

The property may need new carpets, a re-dec and in some cases maybe a fresh new bathroom suite or even a new kitchen.

Refurbishments don’t have to be expensive, it doesn’t need to be the latest style designer kitchen. A kitchen from a DIY or Home Improvement shop will achieve the same rental results and are generally good hard wearing materials.
